While it may take several years to demonstrate the benefits that USPCAS-E graduates will bring to their respective sectors, each center ensured early and frequent engagement with the private sector to design relevant curricula and develop research agendas that will respond to private sector needs.

As confidence builds in the contributions that the centers bring to industry profitability, the costs of advanced research undertaken by each center can shift towards the business community and the energy sector.

National Stakeholder Meetings on Energy

Engaging stakeholders is necessary to substantially improve the capacity of Pakistan’s higher education institutions to drive private sector innovation, modernization, strengthen government policy to stimulate economic growth and contribute solutions to Pakistan’s energy challenges. To achieve this objective, ASU helped NUST and UET Peshawar organize regular national stakeholder meetings in Pakistan.

These meetings provided an opportunity for key stakeholders in the energy sector to have candid discussions on ways to create a collaborative and sustainable environment that enhances cooperation and fosters partnerships.
